Our brand development services are not graphic design. It’s true. We hate to break it to you but…it’s strategy wrapped in a pretty end product. We work with our clients to first have a dialogue about audiences and outcomes before developing a Creative Brief to present brand themes and what the vision should be – as well as some general design styles for reaction. From there, we develop original concept sketches that embody those concepts – and review with the client to select a preferred path. We then present several font treatments, and apply color theory from our work in the Creative Brief to develop a feel that fits each client’s unique needs. For us, this includes application usage. Does the client need it to be embroidered? Single color? Reversible? Will it live in vinyl and do we need to stick to stock color options? These are the types of questions to answer first, not once the logo is done. At the end of each engagement we deliver a style guide alongside the logo in several uses, containing usage guidelines and color palette details, giving each client everything they need to use the logo across all channels.
And just in case a client needs assistance designing assets from tees to banners (physical and online) or other collateral that’s right. We do that pretty well, too.
